Foreign asparagus sold in supermarkets for first time in years as British supplies dwindle

ASPARAGUS supplies in the UK have decreased during the past two months due to spring frosts. Because of this, retailers and wholesalers have had to sell non-British asparagus for the first time in almost a decade.
